Outlined below are the Terms of Service for the website and packages as well as the Refund and Cancellation policies.

Welcome to actorsadvantage.biz ("Website," "We," "Us," or "Our"). By accessing or using our services, including coaching sessions and any related content, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Coaching Services

2.1. Description: Our Website provides coaching services aimed at assisting individuals in the business side of acting.

2.2. Coaching Sessions: Coaching sessions are provided by experienced professionals in the field. These sessions may include discussions, advice, and guidance on various aspects of the acting business.

2.3. Client Responsibility: You acknowledge and agree that your success in the acting business is primarily dependent on your own efforts, decisions, and actions as well as forces outside of your control. Our coaching services are meant to provide guidance and information but do not guarantee specific outcomes.

3. Craft Development

3.1. Client Responsibility: We believe in the importance of continuous improvement and growth in the acting profession. While our coaching services focus on the business side of acting, we strongly encourage all clients to actively engage in acting classes, lessons, or coaching from qualified instructors to refine their craft.

3.2. No Acting Classes or Training: Please note that Actor's Advantage does not provide any form of acting classes, lessons, or training for the craft of acting. Our services exclusively pertain to the business aspects of the acting industry, including career strategy, branding, and networking. We do not offer any acting classes or training programs.

4. Payment and Refunds

4.1. Payment: Payment for coaching services will be as specified on our Website. Payment methods and terms are also detailed on the Website.

4.2. Refunds: Refund policy is outlined on the Legal and Policy page of the Website.

5. Termination of Coaching Services

5.1. Inappropriate Behavior: We are committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment for all clients. We reserve the right to terminate a coaching session without a refund if a client displays any of the following behaviors:

  • Racist views or actions

  • Homophobic views or actions

  • Transphobic views or actions

  • Ableist views or actions

  • Any other views or actions that are discriminatory, offensive, or inappropriate

5.2. Termination for Breach: We also reserve the right to terminate coaching sessions if any of the terms of service are violated. This includes but is not limited to inappropriate behavior as outlined in Section 4.1, failure to comply with payment terms, or any other breach of these terms. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

5.3. Notice: In the event of termination due to inappropriate behavior, we will provide notice to the client explaining the reason for termination.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. Ownership: All content provided as part of our coaching services, including but not limited to materials, advice, and guidance, remains our intellectual property and may not be reproduced or distributed without our written consent.

7. Privacy and Data Collection Policy

7.1. At Actor's Advantage, we highly value your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal information. We collect and use your data solely for the purpose of providing our coaching and consulting services, and we will never sell or distribute your information to third parties without your explicit consent. Rest assured, your data's security is a top priority for us, and we take reasonable steps to protect it. If you have any questions or concerns about your privacy or wish to exercise your rights, please don't hesitate to contact us. Your trust is important to us, and we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of data protection.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Disclaimer: We make no guarantees or warranties regarding the success of your acting business. Our coaching services are provided "as is," and we are not liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred as a result of using our services.

9. Changes of Terms

9.1. Updates: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our Website with the revised date.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

Refund Policy

I always want to make sure every one of my clients is 100% satisfied with the experience they've had at Actor's Advantage, while also always being 100% honest with every client. As such, I feel it important to outline a refund policy. Please email jonbarnes@actorsadvantage.biz to request a refund.

Beginner's Package

No refunds will be issued for the Beginner's Package. All sales are final. 

Audition Material Review

Refunds will only be issued if requested before the Audition Materials are reviewed and/or sent to the client.

Live 1-on-1 Coaching Session

Refunds will only be issued if requested 24 hours or more before the originally scheduled coaching session.

Cancellation Policy

Since the 'Live 1-on-1 Coaching Session' is based around scheduling, the cancellation policy for the package is outlined below. If you have any questions or want to reschedule your session, please let me know at jonbarnes@actorsadvantage.biz

Cancellations 24 Hours or More Before Session

If the client cancels their session 24 hours or more before their originally scheduled coaching session, they may request a refund or reschedule their session time. 

Cancellations Less than 24 Hours Before Session

If the client cancels their session with less than 24 hours before their originally scheduled coaching session, they may reschedule their session time.

No-Call No-Show

If the client does not arrive to the session without any prior notice, they may not reschedule or receive a refund. 

Rescheduling and Refunds Note

Refunds for the Live 1-on-1 Coaching Session are only issued if requested 24 hours or more before the originally scheduled coaching session. This means there will be no refunds issued for rescheduled sessions, even if requested 24 hours or more before the rescheduled session. However, you may reschedule an already rescheduled session.
